Who is Agathe Letellier
Agathe is the owner and cider maker at her cidery Manoir d’Apreval in Pennedepie in Normandy, France. She has turned her domaine into a destination for tourists and cider fans. Guest can sing up for tours, and groups can reserve a classic Norman Buffet. In the tasting room there is a gift shop and cider, pommeau and calvados can also be purchased. Pennedepie is south of the port town of Honfleur.
She describes it as a family domaine that originally had farm animals, but when she arrived at the domain now over 20 years ago, she took the operation full on as an cidery.

When to visit Normandy?
- Take a Totally Cider Tour – tours to Normandy and Brittany go out in the Fall each year.
- Traveling on your own? Try going to April to the end of September, but note that makers often are not available during the month of August.
- October on: the cider makers are full on picking apples and gearing up to make cider.
